Wii Put to the Intensity Test
It is a question that has been posed since the release of the Wii —
Can the Wii be a source of exercise?
Someone finally took the initiative to run a study. The study came back that the intensity level is not enough to count as ‘exercise.’ However, if you compare sitting and playing a video game versus sporting it up with the Wii, I think the higher intensity and more calories burned would be found with the Wii. Now we know that it doesn’t qualify in fitting the definition of ‘exercise’ or ‘sport.’ This means that you can’t skip your workout to play video boxing. However, every step does count so instead of sitting and watching TV – get out the Wii!
