California is first state to ban trans fats
On Friday, Governor Schwarzenegger signed a bill to ban trans fats from all restaurants and bakeries in the state of California. This makes California the first state to take this issue to the next level. In 2006, NYC banned trans fats and it made a large impact on the fast food chains. Restaurants jumped into action by removing trans fats from all their foods at all their locations. While I’m glad that trans fats are being banned – hydrogenated oil is incredibly bad for you – I still have mixed feelings about it being a result of legislation. However, if anyone was going to take this huge step, it only makes sense that it be Arnold. After all, he is still the standard for men body builders. What do you think?
