Love Exercise!

For some reason, it seems like most people feel that if they want to get into shape, they have to go running for an hour and hate their lives.  It doesn’t have to be that way!

I don’t like to play basketball.   I’m terrible at it, I never have fun doing it and I find the whole experience painful.  So, I’ve decided I’m no longer going to do it!  I do, however, love dancing, hiking and rowing.  So, these are the kinds of activities I choose to do for exercise.

Here is your task: Pick something you like to do that gets you moving.  It could be anything from taking a walk with a friend, swimming in the sun, riding your bike, or taking a kickboxing class.  There are so many choices, so don’t feel like you’re obligated to do any one thing.  Grab some friends, spend some time with them, burn some calories and have fun!

Remember, as a child, all that exercise you accidentally got by playing tag, jumping rope and climbing trees?  I don’t remember getting exercise, I only remember how much fun I had with my friends.  Adopt that same attitude again!
