\"super-busy\"<\/a>How many of you need to be reminded to take a few minutes for yourself?\u00c2\u00a0 Or even just to take a deep breath and relax?\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve spent my whole life in ‘go-mode’ and I’m not even sure I really know how to turn it off.\u00c2\u00a0 The thing is, I love what I do and can just keep doing it and never get bored.\u00c2\u00a0 However, I need to take a step back sometimes and remind myself to ‘be present’ instead of always thinking of the next step.\u00c2\u00a0 Every now and then I’ll take a nap in the sun and wake up feeling refreshed, energized and ready to go but does that count as enjoying life?\u00c2\u00a0 I’m sad and glad that I’m not the only one that has this issue and that there are people out there to remind me to be mindful and even give me the step by step how-to.\u00c2\u00a0 I try to read the Zen Habits blog when I can and thought that this article was worth passing on.<\/p>\n

The idea of being mindful \u00e2\u20ac\u201d being present, being more conscious of life as it happens \u00e2\u20ac\u201d seems a bit impossible to many of the super busy.<\/p>\n

But not only is it possible, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d submit that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s desirable, and that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll help the busy (and non-busy) achieve their goals and enjoy life more fully.<\/p>\n
