It seems so simple to sip a peppermint latte while Christmas shopping and then eggnog while at home and a hot cocoa piled high with whipped cream while at the ice rink but NO! Fancy drinks are loaded with empty calories that will do you no favors when it comes to fitting in to your holiday party dress! I’m all about warm drinks but stick with hot tea and regular coffee because these will warm you up and not plump you up! Of course, you can have the occasional treat but make sure to pick and choose because you want to savor that treat and feel that the calories were worth it!
