Avocados have always been popular in certain regions but recently, they have gone a bit more mainstream. There are a great source of the good fats, as well as loads of vitamins. One of my favorite afternoon snacks is an avocado with cottage cheese… and of course, who doesn’t love guacamole?
You can add an avocado to any sandwich or salad, and you can make soups and smoothies with it. Try a quick and easy summer salad with watermelon, avocado and feta cheese. Add some chives and mint and it’s the perfect cookout dish!
